User agreement

TropiGrow User Agreement & Terms of Service

These terms govern use of TropiGrow websites, Mini App features, Plant Doctor guidance, pilot services, support routes, and related smart garden services.

By using TropiGrow, requesting a pilot, joining a waitlist, submitting support requests, or using the Mini App, you agree to these terms where applicable. Separate written pilot, research, sponsorship, or commercial agreements may add or replace terms for specific programmes.

Service Description

TropiGrow is a Caribbean-born climate-smart horticulture intelligence platform that may include managed smart garden pilots, Solar Garden Kit planning, sensor monitoring, irrigation workflows, device status features, Plant Doctor guidance, research collaboration, partner pathways, support pages, and future DIY smart garden kit readiness.

User Responsibilities

Installation and Access Responsibilities

Users are responsible for confirming site suitability, safe physical access, water availability, power or solar conditions, permission to install, maintenance access, and compliance with property, landlord, community, workplace, safety, and local requirements. Hardware and pilot availability may change based on validation, sourcing, site conditions, support capacity, and regulatory or safety review.

Operational Data and Data Use Permission

Some operational data collection is required for TropiGrow to monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the system. Operational data may include account, site, sensor, irrigation, device, Plant Doctor, support, payment metadata, analytics, and service logs.

You permit TropiGrow, where lawful, to use anonymized, aggregated, or derived non-identifiable data for product improvement, research, analytics, reports, dashboards, and commercial intelligence products. TropiGrow should not sell personally identifiable customer data.

Optional Consent and Research Participation

Optional research participation is not automatic. TropiGrow may ask for separate consent or written terms for identifiable research participation, camera/image research use, public recognition, sponsored trials, third-party research access, identifiable data sharing, co-authorship or acknowledgement, and use of site-specific pilot materials.

Users should be able to decline optional research participation, public recognition, identifiable data sharing, sponsored trials, and AI-camera research use without losing access to the core service, unless a specific pilot programme requires different written terms.

Plant, Crop, and Diagnostic Disclaimers

Support Contributions

Support contributions help TropiGrow development and launch preparation. They are not investments, securities, equity purchases, loans, revenue-share rights, product preorders, deposits, guarantees of future delivery, or guarantees of access to hardware, pilots, revenue, profit, ownership, or returns.

Service Changes, Termination, and Availability

TropiGrow may change, suspend, limit, replace, or discontinue features, plans, hardware paths, pilot availability, support routes, pricing displays, data workflows, research programmes, or third-party integrations. TropiGrow may terminate or restrict access for misuse, security risk, non-payment where applicable, unlawful activity, unsafe conditions, breach of terms, or programme closure.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TropiGrow, Paraibis, and their operators, partners, service providers, and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, lost-profit, crop-loss, data-loss, device-failure, water-damage, pest, disease, business interruption, or similar damages arising from use of the service. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited to the amount permitted by applicable law and the specific written agreement, if any.
